Reservations for candidates of different categories on the regular state seats will be as under as per the prevailing reservation policy adopted by the Rajasthan Agricultural University, Bikaner:

1. Sixteen per cent seats are reserved for natural born (not adopted) candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC) as notified in the Presidential order for the state of Rajasthan. Out of the above reserved seats, 25% seats shall be reserved for girl candidates of Scheduled Castes (SC).

2. Twelve per cent seats are reserved for natural born (not adopted) candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes (ST) as notified in the Presidential order for the state of Rajasthan. Out of these reserved seats for ST category candidates, 45% seats shall be reserved for candidates of Scheduled Tribes (ST) who are bona fide residents of tribal area (Scheduled Areas) as notified by Govt. of Raj. Out of the above reserved seats under ST category, 25% seats shall be reserved for girl candidates of Scheduled Tribes (ST).

3. Twenty one per cent seats are reserved for natural born (not adopted) candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes (OBC) as notified in the Presidential order for the state of Rajasthan. Out of the above reserved seats, 25% shall be reserved for girl candidates of Other Backward Classes (OBC).

4. After deducting reservation for SC, ST and OBC categories in regular state seats, the remaining seats will be treated as unreserved seats. Out of the above unreserved seats, 25% shall be reserved for girls.

Note:  The unfilled seats in SC/ST categories can be transferred vice-versa if eligible candidates are not available under any of these categories. If eligible candidates are not available in the reserved categories, the remaining unfilled seats under these categories shall be transferred to the unreserved category and filled up from the candidates of unreserved category.
